The classification of hot melt adhesive films has now been analyzed and introduced in many articles. There are certain differences in the characteristics, applicable occupations, and products of different types of hot melt adhesive films. In addition to stopping the classification of hot melt adhesive films according to the raw materials we understand, there is actually another classification method. However, this classification method is more general. If you stop classifying according to whether there is release paper, it can be divided into hot melt adhesive film with release paper and hot melt adhesive film without release paper (hot melt adhesive film without substrate).
Under this classification method, it is also possible to continue to discern hot melt adhesive films according to raw materials. Simply put, it is possible to classify removable paper as hot melt adhesive film, and those identified by raw materials can be classified as secondary classification. Hot melt adhesive film for release paper is a layer of hot melt adhesive applied to the release paper, but you don't have to worry that they will stick together. Hot melt adhesive film with release paper is increasingly suitable for use as a product adhesive backing process. A typical example is that the adhesive used for seamless wall covering is hot melt adhesive with release paper. When wall cloth manufacturers produce seamless wall coverings, the hot melt adhesive film is composited with the seamless wall covering through a hot melt adhesive gluing machine, and the side with the removable paper will be kept intact and will not become sticky. Hot melt adhesive film without release paper, we call it hot melt adhesive film or bare film without a substrate. It is produced directly using a casting process, and there is no need to use release paper or other release film. This hot melt adhesive film is increasingly suitable for large-scale composite and continuous production. We are still using seamless wall coverings as an example to explain that seamless wall coverings are made of multiple layers of composite materials bonded together, and substrate-free hot melt adhesive films can be used as adhesives between these materials. A substrate-free hot melt adhesive film is placed between the materials to be composited, and the laminating process is completed by a hot melt adhesive laminating machine.
For single-sided composites, hot melt adhesive film with detachable paper can be used; for non-single-sided composites, hot melt adhesive film without a substrate can also be used; of course, non-single-sided composites can also use hot melt adhesive film.
